An Indian gold and pearl choker necklace designed in the iconic chaand-phool motif.
Handcrafted in gold, the central unit of the Jaya choker necklace is dressed in polki/uncut diamonds with a faceted emerald at its heart, all kundan-set using the traditional jadai technique. Intricate chhilaai details give the stones character, elevating the overall beauty of the choker. Drops of pearls with green enamelled beads are suspended from the chaand, giving it a subtle air of movement.
On either side of the chaand-phool is a six-petalled rosette dressed in diamonds with a facetted emerald at its heart, all kundan-set using jadai, which is further flanked by polki-set rectangular units. The choker necklace is strung delicately on four lines of pearls interspersed with emerald beads.
An emblem of peace and calm, the crescent moon symbolizes the Great Divine Mother (Shakti) and female power.
